Classic Snake Game From Nokia Phones To Make A Comeback On Android, IOS And Windows Phone

The creator of the original Snake game Taneli Armanto has decided to bring the game back to the current gen devices, about 18 years after it was first launched on the Nokia 6110. The game will be available on all major mobile platforms such as Android, iOS and Windows Phone. It will be available for download starting May 14.
The game will be known as Snake Rewind. We've seen several upgraded versions of Snake on Nokia phones, including a 3D version, which weren't exactly the same as the classic version, so it will be interesting to see what the developer comes up with.
It is said that the elements of the original game will be used and combined with cool sound effects along with some new features, so it might not be the same classic Snake that we're used to. The game is being co-developed with Rumilus Design.
Developers mention that the game will have additional content like Fruit Magnet, Trailblazer and Score Multiplier. As expected from a modern app, Snake Rewind will have in-app purchases, which can aid you in your pursuit for 'fruits'.
There will be boosters as mentioned above and other purchasable content to make gameplay much easier. We hope that the developers don't make it a freemium game, which would defeat the purpose of having it on the app hubs in the first place.
It's ironic that a game which was exclusive to Nokia devices, will not be seen on Nokia phones as the company has stopped making smartphones given its acquisition deal with Microsoft.
It is hoped that the game will arrive simultaneously on the Google Play Store, the iTunes App Store and the Windows Phone Store.
