Orthus is a Dual Screen Smartphone Render Envisioned by Andrew Zhilin
It appears that Russian designers and phone makers have a passion for dual screen devices, so after the YotaPhone, here comes the Orthus. Rendered by designer Andrew Zhilin, this device is certainly better than the YotaPhone and much more modern and advanced.
Orthus is a dual screen smartphone concept, that can also be used as a tablet. The designer quotes the Nokia N800 as an inspiration, for an Internet Tablet of the modern age. This device uses a slider and twist combo, with titanium alloy scissor blades that are interconnected with micro bearings. There are two 5.1 inch ultrawide displays here, with 2560 x 1080 pixel resolution and 21:9 aspect ratio.
Four speakers are placed at the front and the 12 megapixel wide angle camera can be used for both regular pics and selfies, thanks to its placement and ability to shift position. The dual displays can be used as one, by being aligned one next to the other. Specs also include Sailfish OS, Intel Realsense technology, with infrared laser projectors, as well as a cool stylus.
