iPhone 7 Rendered by Antonio De Rosa, With An Apple Watch-Style Crown (Video)

Usually it’s Martin Hajek who comes up with great Apple iPhone concepts, but I also remember the excellent works of Antonio De Rosa, from a few years ago. That’s why when I heard he was back with a new iPhone render, I just had to see what it was. It’s the iPhone 7 shown below, with an interesting crown button.

The iPhone 7 shown here has a Digital Crown and a special Sense area below the display. The device comes in 3 colors and with a 5.5 inch diagonal, plus it’s thinner now, at 6.9 mm in waistline. The crown button is placed above the On/Off button on the side and because of its integration, the designer has given up on the Home button.

The three dots below the screen work as the Sense Button, that will catch a variety of gestures and movements. This concept iPhone relies on a Retina HD+ screen, with a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution, while inside we find a 64 bit Apple A9 chip and the M9 coprocessor. The main innovation here remains the crown button, that also works as the Home button and Touch ID sensor.
The overall format of the phone hasn’t changed and there’s no word about the camera, that’s also due an upgrade. What do you think of this design?
