India’s Evergreen Radio Channel AIR Now Has An Android App

If ever you have smartphone that doesn't support FM Radio then here's the best possible option that's worth trying out for users in the country. All India Radio or AIR as it is popularly known to people, is now making it's first-ever appearance on the digital form via Android and the application is available to all on Play Store.

You shouldn't find it hard to understand the know-how of the app and primarily it caters to the needs of listeners who have moved on from their box-shaped transistors to smart devices and with this app AIR wants to reconnect with those millions.

Unlike other traditional and old fashioned establishments, AIR has diverged into the digital space in order to stay relevant in the modern days. Currently, AIR has sensibly opted to offer its app services to users with

Android devices but as highlighted by the organization, the likes of iOS and Windows among others will get their due share as well.

The app was announced last month but now is available for public use by downloading the app from Google's app store. While it's hard to see the point of having a digital version of a radio platform but looking at the volume of smartphone users these days it makes sense, business wise to offer something like this on the table. After all, what's there to lose?
