The Microsoft Universal Folding Keyboard is tiny and mighty

While some don’t mind losing the tactile feeling of typing on a touchscreen tablet or phone, it’s difficult for others. You can’t type as quickly because your fingers can’t feel the keys or spacing between them. If you travel often and don’t want to always be forced to carry a laptop around, then having a Bluetoothkeyboard handy can make all the difference. It can be whipped out at a moment’s notice, and often has a longer battery life than your laptop.
The only challenging part is which to choose, as there is a vast sea of options ranging from astounding to pathetic. Microsoft will soon be releasing a Universal Folding Keyboard to the masses that will be perfect for those who are always on the go. It can fold down to .45” thick and is only slightly larger than a wallet, but will measure 11.61 x 4.9” when unfolded. This can pair with any two mobile devices simultaneously whether it be Apple, Android, or Windows alike. To switch between them will only require a single touch.
This has a water repellent keyset and fabric that will hopefully guard against any coffee-related accidents. Being only 5mm thick, this can be put into your bag or pocket easily without adding extra bulk. It is a tad pricey at $99, and won’t be doing much more than other keyboards we have seen in the past. Of course, its folding abilities and multiple pairing options certainly help make this seem more enticing.
