Xiaomi might be working on more affordable Redmi phones
Xiaomi's Redmi 2 is all set to go on sale in India tomorrow via Flipkart. While we are all set to see how the India consumers welcome this new smartphones from Xiaomi, a purported picture of a new smartphone have already hit the online space.

The device was first spotted by MyDrivers.com. As of now, there is no word on what the device might be called but as per reports, it is said to be priced well under $65.

From the image, the device looks very similar to the Redmi 2 smartphone. The image captures the back of the smartphone giving us a full view of the Xiaomi logo, the rear camera along with LED flash and speaker grille.

As per previous leaks, this ultra-low cost smartphone by Xiaomi will pack in 2GHz Cortex-A7 along with 1GB of RAM and support LTE connectivity.

Right from the launch, Xiaomi has been able to get good traction in India. Its affordable smartphones such as Redmi 1S and Redmi Note 4G have been selling pretty well for the company and with a phone that costs about $65, the company will be looking at disrupting the smartphone market even further.

Seems like we are at an exciting times, where in Xiaomi's and the OnePlus's of the world are bringing in smartphones at price points that were hard to imagine almost a year back. We are looking forward to this $65 smartphone from Xiaomi, you tell your views on the same through the comments below.
