Xiaomi has added another Mi television to its bulging product line up

Xiaomi has added another Mi television to its bulging product line up
Xiaomi is involved in a lot of market segments and is not just limited to smartphones and tablets as most of us think. The company launched its low cost television sets last year, known as the Mi TV, which was a great success in China.
Today, the company has launched the second iteration of this series known as the Mi TV 2, which has a 40-inch Full HD display and not 4K as the current market trend would have suggested.
The pricing of the Mi TV 2 has been set at ¥1999 or $322 (Rs. 20,050), which isn't bad for a Smart TV like device. The Mi TV 2 is unlikely to make its way to India anytime soon as the first gen model hasn't been launched in the country yet.
With Micromax recently unveiling UHD TVs in India, we're not sure it will be compared with the Xiaomi Mi TV 2. But for those looking to get a 4K UHD display panel, Xiaomi also has the 49-inch Mi TV 2 model, which has the added luxury of having a microSD card slot.
