Gionee Elife E7 Now Updated To Android 4.4 KitKat Version For All

As days are passing by, more and more devices are getting the goodness of Android 4.4 KitKat. The latest one to get on the bandwagon is Gionee Elife E7.

The update is available OTA (Over The Air) for both 16 and 32GB variants of Gionee Elife E7. So, what does the update bring to your phone you may wonder?

Here is the entire changelog:

Shake and Delete: Shaking the device will enable to close all open applications.
Adds 23 new desktop effects.
Fixed random SMS unread icon issue.
Updates Amigo Paper with a brand new UI interface design.
Updates Game Zone with a new UI interface design.
Updates GioneeXender for optimised performance and further improved the linking success rate.
Updates UC browser with optimised UI interface and page loading effects.
Updates Kingsoft WPS for more efficient work and study related operations.
Removes NQ Mobile Security. (thank God)
New Desktop layout: After taking OTA Factory Reset the device & will get new Desktop layout with removed Search, Texas Poker and BBM applications.
Saavn, Green Farm 3 and Danger Dash also gets updated

It was earlier speculated that the Gionee Elife E6 and E7 will get an update by July 2014. However, it is only in Feb that Gionee Elife E6 got an update to Android 4.4 and now it is the turn of E7 to bask in its glory.
