Intex Aqua Power Is The Affordable Smartphone Sans 4G Support

If there is one phone company that has been churning out one model after the other then Intex will come closer to being at the top than any other domestic brand. The brand's latest offering is called Aqua Power and as the name suggests, there is lot of power that gets equally price power as well.

Aqua Power sports a 5 inch HD display, running on Android 4.4 KitKat but company promises to offer Lollipop flavour in the coming months (haven't we heard that before). This dual-SIM phone come packing with a 1.8GHz octa-core CPU and 2GB RAM something that's become common these days with brands. Storage wise you get 16GB innards, expandable by up to 32GB through microSD slot. There is 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front shooter, there isn't much more that you can ask from the phone. It doesn't catch with its peers on the 4G front, thereby leaving you short with 3G/2G option instead.

With a 4,000mAh battery, Aqua Power should be able to justify its name appropriately (so we hope) but with big-size battery you end up facing the bulge of the device. Slew of pre loaded apps are available on the phone (not that anyone wants it) and said to sport a sleek design, as per the company. It doesn't form part of the phablet cult and can be seen as a traditional form factor device these days. Oh yes, there's USB OTG support available too.

Priced at Rs 9,444 anyone can buy the Intex Aqua Power across the country without worrying about the need to hit the buy button in jiffy or making the effort to buy online. For this price, you can also look at the Asus Zenfone 5, Yu Yureka and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G among others.
