LG Watch Urbane Vs Samsung Gear S Vs Apple Watch: Luxury Smartwatch Specs Comparison
While the Apple Watch might have made all the noise recently, there's no denying that it faces stiff competition from Android Wear and other wearables. In theory, the two platforms are not exactly competitors as they cater to a different set of audiences. But this is where Samsung's Gear S comes into the picture as the device is compatible with another set of Android devices (only Samsung phones for now), causing some concern for Android Wear OEMs.
Not so long ago, we saw LG making an entry in the luxury smartwatch segment with the Watch Urbane. Although the likes of Pebble are compatible with most mobile platforms, they don't quite stack up against the big names in terms of hardware specifications.
So how do these devices fare in terms of hardware? We compare them below.
From the specs comparison, it's clear as daylight that either smartwatches won't go easy on your wallets. A LG spokesperson has confirmed to us that the Watch Urbane will cost somewhere close to the Rs. 35,000 mark in India, making it the most expensive device on the list. But considering that it is compatible with more devices out of the box compared to the Samsung Gear Live and the Apple Watch, we expect it to be the most popular, at least among Android users.
