XIAOMIXiaomi Mi4 Smartphone Running On MiUi 6 Is Here In India For Rs 19,999
You've waited for the Mi4 and its been a while but now Xiaomi has announced Mi4 smartphone for buyers in the country. Mi4 was primarily slated for December-end launch but got delayed owing to supply issues. And now anxious buyers waiting for the Mi4 won't have to wait anymore. Mi4 is company's first metal-laden smartphone, offering premium usage experience.
Mi4 comes in a 5-inch form factor equipped with Full-HD resolution display combined with Corning one-glass solution (OGS). That's not all, Mi4 packs the 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 chipset, clubbed with 3 GB RAM and offering 16GB internal storage. Interestingly, Xiaomi managed to offer MiUi6 on this device, marking both; phone as well software's debut in the country. The phone weighs 149 grams and measure at 8.9 mm thickness which doesn't come across at the slimmest these days but should be easy to use for its form size.
On the imaging front, there is a 13 MP rear snapper on the Mi4 laced with the power of LED flash and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), capable of shooting 4K-quality videos. Selfie enthusiasts will be more than pleased with an 8MP shooter. It comes loaded with a 3080mAh Li-Po battery and runs on the latest MiUi V6 layered over Android 4.4 KitKat OS. According to the company, Mi4 can be charged up to 60% in less than an hour's time; a feature that is already available with Oppo Find 7 smartphone. On the connectivity front, Mi4 is a single-SIM device offering 2G/3G connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS among others.
Xiaomi Mi 4 will be sold via Flipkart with registrations starting from today onwards with first sale slated for February 10 2015.
Xiaomi had an excellent 2014 in India with products like Redmi 1S, Redmi Note 4G and Mi 3 widely praised for its value proposition.
