Just yesterday, Motorola dropped a cool Rs 1,000 off the first generation Moto E. Though the company shared that it was a part of its anniversary celebration but we could smell that the next generation Moto E might just be round the corner.
However, we did not know at that time that we won't even have to wait for another 24 hours to get to know more about the Moto E 2nd generation. The forthcoming device was "accidently" listed on Best Buy website.
The price of Moto E 2nd generation on that site was mentioned as $99.99 (unlocked and without contract that is). As far as the specifications go, there are two major highlights for the Moto E 2ndgeneration. First, this device will come with LTE connectivity support, and second it will run on Android Lollipop straight out of the box.
The other specs for Moto E 2nd generation include 4.5 inch qHD display (the current model has a 4.3 inch screen), 5MP rear camera, 8GB of expandable memory, 1GB of RAM and also a front camera.
So far, there is no mention on the official release date but we don't think we'd have to wait for long. Also, as India is a key market for Motorola at this stage, we expect it to make it to the land of snake charmers almost parallely with the global launch.
