Samsung Galaxy J1 Smartphone Launches In India Via Amazon

Just when you thought Samsung couldn't do any worse than Tizen powered Z1 smartphone, the Korean major has continued to flood the affordable mobile space with another, one of its Galaxy. You've got Galaxy E, Galaxy A, Galaxy S and so on but now there's a Galaxy J added to the list. Announced globally couple of weeks back, the company has decided to roll out this budget product Galaxy J1 in India, priced at Rs 7,190 and available only via Amazon.

At this price, you have come to expect decent power (and snappers) for smooth interface experience but Samsung on the contrary is more than confident of doing well with Galaxy J1. With this phone, you get a 4.3 inch standard display, running on Android 4.4 KitKat, dual-core SoC with 512MB RAM and expandable storage with 4GB available innards. Price has got nothing to do with Galaxy J1's value (not even the hardware) but in market like India, the company seems to have its own set of strategy that has worked quite well for them (up until now).

If that wasn't enough, Galaxy J1 gets served up with a 5MP rear snapper and 2 MP shooter on the front and finally loaded up with an 1850 mAh battery.

The phone will be available from 11 February onwards i.e. tomorrow on Amazon (for anyone who's even interested in going for it).

Just to remind you, Motorola Moto E and Asus Zenfone 4 among others are available in the country for much less than the Galaxy J1 (just saying).
